A few weeks ago on a special date, 20-10-2010, Jannetta and René tweeted their I Do's. A unique wedding (worldwide) it was for sure and not only because everything was tweeted together ;-). I thought it was really special that I was the wedding planner of this fantastic wedding! I would like to share some tips with you, which can also be used by 'normal' couples.
Jannetta wore a beautiful red wedding dress from Assepoester in Arnhem. Not a foolish sisi dress, but a contemporary dress in bright red! Because yes as a 'second round' bride, a white dress was slightly less appropriate. Then they thought, you know what, let's put the groom, René, in white ;-). She Tailor made the skirt suit really gorgeous. Nice details of the dress of the bride, the pocket in her cleavage for her iPhone (to be able to twitter of course), hilarious follow-me tights and fantastic shoes from Jan Janssen (you know what was sooo cool? On the sole were red hearts: how cute!). Oh and the bridal bouquet was also completely in heart shape with beautiful red roses, specially made by José of Stijlvol Groen. It's all in the details! Jannetta and René, for example, also had two bridesmaids (including wedding planner het Bruidsmeisje). The dresses were specially designed by TWIYR. Hip, unique and sooo 2011..
The jewelry was also custom made .. so they would perfectly match the clothes. The honor of Blinken to make the wedding rings and to decorate the bride and groom and Nicole2B to 'decorate' the bridesmaids.
The day started with Jannetta and René at home. Jannetta's hair & make-up was beautifully done by Ria of BonSoigne, while enjoying a cup of fresh mint tea. And that was of course put on the film by Maarten from SaveMyWedding and on the photo by Charlotte of LotsofPhotographs. Frans from MijnTrouwReportage went with the groom to the parents of Jannetta, where he was going to prepare. Miraculously, Jannetta and René were not very nervous ... haha of course they did not know what to expect ;-).
The first meeting did not take place at home, but in a special place outside. Unfortunately it rained hard at that moment .. so the meeting fell a little into the water. After a photo shoot of 1.5 hours they left with the Traxion Avant to Castle 't Kerckebosch where the ceremony took place. The day guests (recognizable by the cuddly corsage punches) were all present and Jannetta and René received outside, together with all kinds of media (NOS, ANP, Telegraaf, Hart van Nederland, RTV Utrecht etc.).
And then the ceremony started ... wow everyone was immediately silent when Tom started to play on his saxophone. Really, the ceremony was very moving, not only because of the beautiful music of Tom and LadyLau, but also because of the way in which Pauline Krom led the whole ceremony! So personal, funny and moving. Everyone should take a self-employed wedding official .. because really, an official of the municipality can seldom be like this. Also very cute was Spikey, the dog of Jannetta and René. He brought the rings, by means of the ring pillow that was attached to his jacket. Afterwards, Erik poured in the most delicious red bubbles that had been specially selected for the tastiest cake ever by Nathalie from Take the Cake. Hmm what a feast it was! After a press tour, a walking dinner was served for the day guests .. while enjoying a massage from ElluhZelluf ... What a surprise in the evening all happened ... you read in the second blog post within a week. So I'll keep you posted ;-)
